Loan Specialist

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Loan Specialist for an onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Brea, CA. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity.

Pay Range: $40.00 - $43.14 per hour.

This position is responsible for new loan boarding, loan modification, and post-origination quality control reviews. The ideal candidate will have expertise in loan documentation, compliance issues, and various loan types including SBA, Commercial RE, and Business Loans.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all new loan boarding and loan modifications
• Conduct post-origination quality control reviews for proper documentation
• Handle account disbursements, payment processing, and other adjustable loan processing tasks
• Monitor flood and hazard insurance
• Understand applicable compliance issues related to SBA, Commercial RE, Business Loans, and Participation/Syndication Loans

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in lending, loan onboarding, loan processing, or financial services
• Familiarity with loan documentation, credit evaluation, and compliance regulations
• Proficiency in loan boarding and servicing applications and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
