Research Partner Engagement Associate

As a member of the EAB Research Partner Engagement team, this Associate role supports the execution of our scaled partner engagement strategy. This includes driving event recruitment and participation, managing registration processes and partner inquiries, maintaining core engagement workflows, and ensuring data and reporting enable effective outreach and decision-making.

This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys both executing outreach and improving behind-the-scenes processes, and is eager to build skills in partner engagement, operations, and the use of AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and impact.

This hire may be based in Washington, D.C.

Primary Responsibilities:

Event Recruitment & Outreach



  • Drive partner participation in events and services through targeted outreach and campaign execution
  • Execute outreach campaigns to Executive and Administrative Assistants to increase event awareness, drive registrations, and confirm attendance
  • Activate targeted partner lists, identifying priority segments and key engagement opportunities
  • Support Strategic Leaders with messaging, outreach materials, and scripting to improve partner engagement
  • Monitor registration trends and proactively adjust outreach strategies to improve performance
  • Identify opportunities to enhance outreach effectiveness through testing, automation, and AI-enabled tools



Registration & Partner Inquiry Management



  • Ensure a seamless registration experience and timely handling of partner requests
  • Process event and service registrations, including managing exceptions (e.g., title restrictions) and resolving issues
  • Monitor and manage the Research inbox, ensuring timely routing and response to partner inquiries
  • Troubleshoot registration and participation issues, escalating when needed and ensuring resolution
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent communication with partners



List & Workflow Management



  • Maintain the systems and processes that enable effective partner engagement
  • Maintain and update partner lists to ensure accuracy and usability for outreach and engagement efforts
  • Support list segmentation and preparation aligned to campaign priorities
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflows through automation and AI-enabled tools
  • Coordinate logistics for partner touchpoints, including campaigns, mailings, and related activities
  • Support broader operational needs across the Partner Engagement team as priorities evolve



Data Tracking & Reporting



  • Track performance and contribute insights to improve engagement outcomes
  • Track and report on partner engagement activity, including registrations, attendance, and campaign performance
  • Contribute to recurring team reporting to keep stakeholders informed of upcoming opportunities and trends
  • Analyze outreach and participation data to identify opportunities to improve engagement strategies
  • Support data cleanup and validation efforts to maintain high-quality reporting and outreach lists
  • Use AI-enabled tools to improve reporting efficiency and support basic analysis



Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in event operations, marketing, partner/customer engagement, administrative support, or a related field
  • Strong writing skills and comfort contributing to written communications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort working with data and supporting reporting efforts
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based content management platforms (e.g., Box, Dropbox)
  • Exposure to CRM systems, email platforms, or event management tools
  • Interest in and willingness to learn AI-enabled tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar technologies) to improve productivity and workflows

Compensation:

The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $41,000 per year.
