Disassembler

The Disassembler Technician is responsible for utilizing hand and power tools to disassemble transformers. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role.

• Read and follow work order instructions
• Gather parts and tools that are needed for the work order and ensure they are in good working condition prior to usage.
• Disassemble and sort transformer parts for reuse and scrap.
• Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately. Return equipment to proper location once usage is complete.
• Usage of overhead crane and other material handling equipment may be needed to perform job tasks.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

• HS Diploma/GED, preferred.
• Experience with small hand tools.
• Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
• Help team members resolve questions and help with the workload.
• A dependable and strong work ethic; works safely.
• Professional language and conduct at all times.
• Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.
