Job Title: Medical Device Dimensional Quality Inspector Reports To: QC Supervisor Location: Austin, Texas Business Unit Description: The Quality Assurance business unitis responsible forensuring all products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. The team supports manufacturing operations by performing inspections, managing nonconformances, and driving continuous improvement to ensure product reliability and on-time delivery Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: Performs inspections with minimal supervision anddemonstratesproficiencyin interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and operating inspection equipment in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections independently Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements Set up andoperateinspection equipment: Optical Comparators Keyence Vision Systems Digital indicators and comparators Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and document results Useair gagesand basicprofilometersfor dimensional and surface checks Generate and documentNCMRsand support investigations Ensure all data is recorded accurately fortraceability and audits Minimum Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma (technical training preferred) 2-5 years of inspection experience Working knowledge ofGD&T Experience with inspection tools and equipment Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of travel may berequired. Desired Characteristics: Experience in medical device or regulated industry Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, Agile) ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
