The Mental Health Worker is a a key member of the Laurel Ridge Treatment Center Team who will assist in the direct care and management of children, adolescents, and adults. Provide direct supervision, safety and crisis management for patient population.

Job Duties:

• Provides direct supervision of patients/guests waiting with patients.
  
• Maintain safety within the milieu by constantly monitoring patients/guests for potentially unsafe behaviors.
  
• Prevent and manage crisis situations.
  
• Role model appropriate behaviors, attitudes, social skills and self-care.
  
• Completes all documentation as required.
  
• Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
  
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• One year of experience as a Mental Health Worker or related field or enrollment in or a graduate of a professional program (LVN, RN, licensed therapist).
• Excellent verbal and writen skills.
• Exhibit emotional intelligence.
