Job Type UnclassifiedDepartment Flood Control DistrictAbout the Position Step into a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape the direction of the Support Services Division within the Maricopa County Flood Control District! As the Support Services Manager, you will drive accountability, exceptional customer service, and a culture of continuous improvement. You'll lead and develop a talented team of specialists, fostering collaboration, growth, and strong performance. This role oversees division and facilities budgets with a focus on strategic, compliant resource management, including procurement. You'll also lead space planning and Tenant Improvement projects, partnering with county departments and vendors to deliver results on time and within scope. You will play a critical role as the custodian of records, ensuring transparency and compliance-overseeing public records requests, legal holds, and the full records lifecycle, from archiving to secure destruction. About Us Flood Control? In a Desert? Absolutely! Though Maricopa County is in a desert, floods occur during two distinct rainy seasons - the summer monsoon and winter frontal rains. Although the Flood Control District has made significant progress over the years, work remains to be done.
