Position Title: SAP FICO Solution Consultant / Lead

Work Location: Waukegan, IL (Onsite)

Assignment Duration: 7 months (Possibility of extension)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage medium and large SAP projects, with a strong focus on financial systems and business transformation.

The role requires a seasoned SAP FICO Consultant with 10+ years of experience in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, and optimization projects.

Background & Context:

The candidate will be responsible for driving solution design, ensuring process standardization, and partnering closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work as SAP FICO Solution Consultant / Lead to deliver end-to-end medium to large projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support

* Act as a subject matter expert for SAP Finance and Controlling processes, ensuring alignment with business, regulatory, and compliance requirements

* Ensure integration consistency between SAP FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP, PS) as well as external and boundary systems

* SAP Controlling (CO)

* Product Costing

* Material Ledger and Actual Costing

* Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

* Margin and profitability analysis

* SAP Finance (FI)

* General Ledger Accounting

* Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

* Banking and Cash Management

* Asset Accounting

* Project Systems (PS)

* Experience working in global, multi-country SAP environments with complex financial structures

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

* Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional, global teams

* Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
