IES Residential is looking for a passionate and experienced Safety Coordinator to help lead and elevate our safety culture across our West Coast operations. Location & Travel Home Base: Las Vegas, NV Regional Travel: Salt Lake City, UT * Denver, CO * Phoenix, AZ - Travel required (50-75%) What You'll Do * Lead job site safety inspections and proactively identify risks * Partner with leadership to build and reinforce a safety-first mindset * Deliver engaging safety trainings and lead impactful toolbox talks * Investigate incidents and drive solutions that prevent future risks * Support and participate in OSHA inspections with confidence * Serve as the go-to safety expert for both field teams and management * Communicate safety policies clearly and effectively across all levels Minimum Education High School Minimum Years of Experience 4-6 Specific Qualifications What You Bring * 5+ years of safety experience (construction experience preferred) * Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance * OSHA 500 Certification (required) * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Ability to influence, lead, and collaborate across teams * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Bonus Points * Construction industry experience * First Aid/CPR Instructor certification * Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills Work Environment You'll be in the field where it matters most-on active residential construction sites-working alongside crews, supervisors, and leadership. Expect a fast-paced, hands-on environment with travel across multiple states and exposure to real-world job site conditions. Physical Requirements * Walk and inspect job sites for extended periods * Climb, bend, kneel, and navigate active construction environments * Lift up to 25-50 lbs occasionally * Wear PPE at all times on job sites * Maintain strong visual and hearing awareness for hazard recognition Why IES Residential?
