Position Details:

1st Shift Mon-Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm

Your Expertise:



  • Current Radiographic Testing (RT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) Level II certification in accordance with NAS 410 or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-4 years of radiographic testing and penetrant testing experience (or equivalent documented OJT hours per NAS 410)
  • Hands-on experience with film and/ or digital radiography (CR)
  • Hands-on experience with fluorescent penetrant testing
  • Strong knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and applicable codes/ standards
  • Working knowledge of radiation safety practices and regulations'

Your Challenge:

Training & Qualification Support (Primary Focus)



  • Support training, qualification, and certification of Level I and II personnel
  • Assist in administering written, general, and practical examinations
  • Provide day-to-day coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance to technicians


Technical Support to NDT Operations



  • Provide hands-on technical support for RT, CR, and PT inspections
  • Assist with troubleshooting inspection issues, technique setup, and equipment operation
  • Support resolution of non-conformances and inspection discrepancies


Procedure & Technique Support



  • Assist in the development, revision, and improvement of NDT procedures and techniques
  • Ensure procedures align with applicable codes, specifications, and internal requirements
  • Support implementation of new or revised inspection methods


Equipment & Process Support



  • Support qualification, validation, and calibration of NDT equipment (RT/CR/PT)
  • Assist in maintaining technique sheets, exposure charts, and system performance checks
  • Help ensure proper use, control, and care of NDT systems and materials


Documentation & Records Support



  • Maintain training, certification, and technical documentation
  • Support accurate documentation of procedures, techniques, and inspection results
  • Ensure records are complete, accurate, and traceable


Support to Responsible Level III



  • Execute tasks as delegated by the Responsible Level III
  • Provide technical input and feedback to support program effectiveness
  • Act as a supporting technical resource within defined Level III authority


Additional Responsibilities



  • Perform NDT inspections (RT, CR, PT), interpret results, and document findings in accordance with approved procedures
  • Maintain awareness of method capabilities and limitations, including applicable acceptance criteria
  • Apply and interpret applicable codes, standards, and contractual requirements
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Level I and Level II personnel during inspection activities
  • Support internal audits, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain general knowledge of manufacturing processes and product inspection technology



Education Requirements:



  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required
  • Minimum Experience as Level II:

    • No college / university: 4 years
    • 2-year degree (technical / engineering): 2 years
    • 4-year degree (science/engineering): 1 year
