POSITION OVERVIEW: The Process Engineerwillbe responsible forclean roomdie and wire bondingequipment support, automated assemblyprocess development, and some mechanical design capabilities to manufacture RF modules targeted at high reliability and space programs. TheProcess Engineerdrives problem-solving,withthe use of data toidentifyand implementcontinuous improvement initiatives.

  • Developandmaintainprogramming processes & toolingfor automated assembly

  • Design mechanical assemblies and fixtures to support microelectronic assembly operations

  • Support all processes, equipment, andtools in a class 100 clean roomenvironment

  • Reviewand interpretsemiconductor RF performance specifications

  • Evaluate RF and thermal performance packaging process requirements

  • Providetimelysupportto clean roomassembly technicians and operators

  • Developnew processDesign of Experiments(DOEs)approacheswithdemonstratedresults

  • Approval ofend-of-project reports and Certification of Conformance

  • Works closely with program management to ensure customer requirements are met

  • When applicable, works and interfaces directly with the customer to ensure theaccurateandtimelyexchange of information and status

  • Collaborate with other departments toidentifyrisks and close operational gaps

  • Identifyand implement continuous improvement initiatives that improveclean roomperformance

  • Collaborate with Quality to address quality concerns

  • Participate in ISO9001, ISO17025, AS9100 and DLA audits

  • Develop good working relationships with stakeholders, internal and external, to ensureeffectivecommunicationofaccurate, relevant, andtimelyinformation

  • Prepare,submit, and present periodic reportstomultiple levels within the organization

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Must be a US Person (US Citizen or permanent resident - green card holder)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering,orcommensuratedemonstratedequivalent experience

  • Minimum of 3 years working in manufacturing with semiconductors

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials

  • Experience in a clean room production environment preferred

  • Priorproblem-solvingtraining and/or certifications preferred

  • Experience inprogrammingautomated tools for assembly applicationspreferred

Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with ability to communicate within all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of disciplines in a dynamic environment and motivate them to work together as a team

  • Self-driven,adaptableand resourceful; able to work under limited supervision

  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate vision into action

  • Experienced user of ERP systems (IFS, Oracle, etc.)/Advanced Planning experience

  • Computer and Microsoft Office literate (Word, Excel, etc.)

Travel:

  • Minimal, less than 10%

  • Work area is adequately lighted,heatedand ventilated.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: - per hour

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
