Job Summary

Manages the operations and logistics of the College of Business Chapman Graduate School of Business program. Manages the recruitment, admissions, student and alumni services, and external partnerships. Proposes and administers plans in support of the program's strategic goals and objectives. Collaborates with other programs within the Chapman Graduate School of Business to foster the highest standards of quality, customer service and educational value.

  • Manages the delivery of student services, such as, registration, orientation, speaker visits, graduation, and special events.
  • Works closely with current students and alumni regarding any issues related to the program. Serves as the first point of contact for all enrolled students of assigned programs.
  • Supports recruitment by participating and attending open houses, information sessions and other special events for prospective students. Maintains CRM database of applicants, current students, and alumni. Recruits for the program in collaboration with the college recruiting team. Works closely with the College's Marketing and Communications department on verifying website accuracy. Assists with the development and design of digital and print collaterals.
  • Advises Dual Degree students of available course options to complete degree requirements in compliance with partnership agreements.
  • Engages in communication with current students and alumni about internships, job opportunities, and surveys to enhance and develop their professional career development paths. Bridges relationship with the Business Career Management office.
  • Assists in the scheduling of courses and faculty assignments in consultation with all appropriate parties. Coordinates with faculty on the course preparations such as textbook orders, student materials, and other faculty curriculum needs. Prepares faculty contracts as necessary, in collaboration with the Finance and Administration office.
  • Promotes and disseminates program information to prospective and current students through various mediums and advises on student holds or any account issues, including financial aid status.
  • Manages the International Study Abroad and Local trips. Works with the Office of Education Abroad (OEA) to process the contract. Collects student documents and applications for OEA and create requisition to ensure payments.
  • Collaborates with departmental leadership in identifying and promoting program initiatives and executes strategies to meet admissions goals. Assists with budget planning and maintains fiscal responsibility for all program activities. Reviews accounts payable/receivable transactions, ensuring appropriate allocation of funds across program budget(s).
  • Interprets university administrative and fiscal policies and procedures. Provides recommendations on procedures for the unit to improve administrative and fiscal operation for the programs and office site.
  • Manages and creates content for the program's social media accounts including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialization and four (4) years of related experience, or Master's degree in an appropriate specialization and two (2) years related experience.


Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft, Canvas, Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) and/or ImageNow applications preferred.
