Job Summary

The Mechanical Assembler II is responsible for assembling products and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, interpreting diagrams and drawings, and performing both repetitive and non-repetitive tasks. This role requires moderate supervision and the ability to make minor adjustments to work methods to resolve routine issues while ensuring quality standards are met.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations on products and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and assembly instructions
• Execute both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks
• Monitor and adjust work methods to resolve routine issues or deviations from standard practice
• Ensure completed assemblies meet quality and specification requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates or clarify instructions
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
• Attention to detail and quality-conscious mindset
• Ability to work independently under moderate supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Experience

• Prior experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production environments preferred
