Upholsters boxspring units by stapling padding and fabric on coil spring units. Staples fabric and dust cover to wood frame using a staple gun. This work is typically done in a team of two and they build the box spring assembly before it is covered. The person lifts a 10 pound grid, laying it on the wooden slats which are on a waist high table. They then used modified staplers/nail guns to tack the assembly in place. It is then lifted off of the table onto a stack. The rate per team is approximately 60 per hour. Tempur Sealy is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
