The Osher Center for Integrative Health (OCIH) is an interdisciplinary center that includes clinical, education, and research programs. Our vision is to nurture health and inspire well-being in all people. Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 1+ years of work experience in clinical, administrative, or program operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and students/patients verbally and in writing
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
  • Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to identify and adhere to established protocols, as well as identify needs to improve or establish new protocols to improve operational effectiveness and objectives.
  • Willingness to participate in an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) class at Osher Center for Integrative Health within 6 months of hire (paid for by OCIH)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Spanish

Salary Information


The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.


Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
