The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Prepare treatment area and assist patients in preparation for and during treatment sessions under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist,

Maintain patient safety, prepare patient areas, and assist therapist with treatment,

Transport patients in a safe manner, with their medical record, equipment, or devices as needed, to and from Fitness Center Parking lot or lobby,

Transfer or assist to transfer patients to wheelchair or treatment table maintaining weightbearing status and/or patient safety precautions,

Maintain the general cleanliness of all rehabilitation equipment, storage areas, and designated environmental surfaces,

Complete environmental testing logs per policy or standards,

Inventory medical/surgical supplies per established schedule, patient care, and department administration,

Attend the reception area in the absence of the rehabilitation secretary or administrative assistant,

Accurately perform a variety of clerical duties related to patient care and department administration that may include but are not limited to scheduling, registration, billing reconciliation, date entry, insurance verification, and securing signatures on Plans of Care,

High school diploma required,

Most demonstrate English fluency and possess good written and oral communication skills,

Previous experience working with patients in a health care setting is preferred,

Basic math and typing required,

Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval is required,
