Job Description

Overview of the Position:


Perform necessary inspection procedures to insure parts meet all required specifications and standards. Prepare and close out parts for shipping (oil the parts, wrap in plastic, etc.). Prepare required paperwork for parts shipment.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Learn the Pentagon parts sorting / logging program/update and scan location of parts accurately.
  • Locate work under scribe on parts and match paper to part.
  • Use chemical cleaners like MEK, mineral spirits and alcohol to clean parts as needed.
  • Distribute post NDT parts to their respective next work location.
  • Prepare required paperwork for parts shipment.
  • Use protective equipment and appropriate work shoes as required.



Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Must speak, read and write the English language.
  • Should have basic computer software and keyboarding skills.
  • Prior knowledge of AS9110 Quality Policy and Procedures.
  • Interest in performing NDT process.
  • Can pass a Tumbling E in accordance with ISO 18490 or Jaeger No. I at not less than 12" (30.48 cm)
  • Personnel shall be capable of adequately distinguishing and differentiating colors used in the process involved.
  • Able to pass a physical exam, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Fit Test, and to wear a respirator.
  • Able to work in dark room for long periods of time.
  • Able to work around magnetic fields.

Education / Experience Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
