What this position entails

Business Operations is at the center of all IntelliScript divisions (e.g. IT, Data Analytics, Account Management, Sales, and Products). The Client Support Advocate is critical as a first line of support for our clients. The right person for our team will bring professional experience and training from a variety of settings and perspectives, a passion for solving business questions as well as an entrepreneurial spirit.

The key area of responsibility in the role of Client Support Advocate Help Desk Representative is interaction with our clients, i.e. health and life insurance companies. The ideal candidate would represent a successful, well-respected company occupying a unique niche in the market, fulfill a critical, client-facing, multi-faceted role within the Operations department and would join a small team that works collaboratively to address customer issues swiftly and correctly.

What you will be doing



  • Manage and deliver first-line client support end to end: respond promptly, resolve on the spot when possible, escalate complex cases appropriately, and own each case through accurate resolution.
  • Create and improve documentation for client support
  • Look for ways to support client facing teams by expanding knowledge to increasingly complex support issues
  • Assistance with client projects as time allows


    Responsibilities will expand to other tasks and projects as your experience and knowledge increases.

    What we need



    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • 2+ years of relevant professional experience, i.e. handling help desk / ticketing responsibilities, interacting with customers to solve technical issues, etc.
    • Hands-on experience in SaaS or web-based applications industry
    • Experience with or willingness to learn generative AI to utilize for process and document improvement

    Location

    The expected application deadline for this job is June 30, 2026. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events.

    Compensation

    The overall salary range for this role is $45,300 - $88,895. For candidates residing in:



    • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia:




      • $52,095 - $80,845 if overall experience is less than 2 years; and
      • $57,385 - $88,895 for experience greater than 2 years


    • All other states:

      • $45,300 - $70,300 if overall experience is less than 2 years; and
      • $49,900 - $77,300 for experience greater than 2 years




    A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. This is a non-exempt overtime eligible role; overtime eligible after 40 hours of work (For non-exempt, hourly roles).
