Job Summary


Join our behavioral health team as a Psychiatric LCSW-C delivering highquality, patientcentered care across inpatient and partial hospitalization settings. You will lead assessment, treatment planning, and discharge coordination while collaborating with patients, families, interdisciplinary teams, and community partners to ensure safe, timely, and costeffective care. This role balances clinical practice (individual, group, and family therapy), utilization management, crisis intervention, and care coordination with opportunities to shape program development and quality improvement.


Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, intake screenings, and ongoing clinical evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; provide individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Coordinate discharge planning, community referrals, and external provider communication.
  • Serve as liaison with Emergency Department, thirdparty payers, and specialty services to facilitate admissions, precertifications, and disposition.
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation to medical teams on psychiatric issues.
  • Support program development for partial hospitalization and participate in quality improvement initiatives, education, and outreach.


Qualifications



  • MSW or relevant master's degree with coursework in psychology, psychotherapy, counseling, and group dynamics.
  • Current Maryland LCSW-C license required.
  • Minimum 2 years' clinical experience in psychiatry/behavioral health.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and documentation skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Experience working with diverse age groups (adolescent, adult, geriatric) desirable.

Salary Range: Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
