Job Description




As a Security Officer - Visitor Screener Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support daily operations by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring assigned areas, and completing routine patrols. You will stay highly visible, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site leadership while delivering great customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at entry points by verifying identification, checking credentials, and monitoring access control systems and/or screening equipment per post orders.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound traffic flow at a logistics and distribution location, including directing drivers to designated areas and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and documentation per Allied Universal guidelines and post instructions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, including warehouse and yard areas, noting maintenance issues and/or security-related concerns for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Security Experience - 6+ Months.
  • 21+ Years of Age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
  • Lift Up to 20 lbs - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
