As a Screener with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will welcome team members and visitors, conduct entry screening, support access control, and complete routine rounds in assigned areas. You will stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly during fast-paced peak times, and document observations with care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, contractors, and visitors upon entry using approved methods such as credential verification, visitor logs, and bag and/or package checks in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor entry points, screening areas, and designated queuing spaces to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items, and report concerns through the chain of command.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
