Security Officer - Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer - Marina Driver Patrol in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, supporting mobile coverage and timely response across the site. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with a team that values integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution and warehouse location.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving activity, including verifying identification, visitor logs, and delivery documentation per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including dock doors, yard areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Operate security-related systems such as CCTV, alarm monitoring, and two-way radio communications, and complete written reports and logs per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
