Residence Life consists of 65 full-time staff members, 28 graduate staff students, 308 undergraduate residential staff, and over 100 student workers which serve a Residence Life program of about 16,000 students, plus 3,200 conference guests and over 8,000 new student orientation attendees each summer. |

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator I for Residence Life.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Assists with synchronizing services and processes across the department of Residence Life.
- Organizes, administers, and coordinates multiple facets of Residence Life strategic projects.
- Handles the planning, preparation, evaluation, and monitoring of communications, events, records, statistics, reports, and documents.
- Provides operational support using various computer applications for organization and project management.
- Assists with several large strategic projects.
- Plans for all major residence hall move-in operations, break, and closing events
- Handles Summer conference services
- Handles Staff apartment oversight
- Handles department asset management
- Assists with building partnerships across the University with key stakeholders including New Student Orientation and Transition Programs, RUPD/Security, Dining Services, Parking and Institutional Planning and Operations units such as Housing Facilities and Grounds.
- Assists with the recruitment and hiring of summer conference seasonal student workers.
- Works closely with various student groups to facilitate the major "Move-In Team" initiative to support the August move-in program.
- Develops processes, evaluates program effectiveness, and identities recruitment opportunities and resources.
- Promotes consistency and understanding of the Residence Life mission, values, and vision.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of coordination, organization, facilitation, report analysis, writing, and promotion/outreach.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in program coordination or administrative function.

- Good communication skills, and computer literacy.
- Valid driver's license and a minimum of two years of driving experience.
