Our client is an in-house creative agency dedicated to developing breakthrough, omnichannel brand design systems. They focus on the customer experience across all channels, categories, and touchpoints. By blending high-level craft with emerging technology, they build integrated solutions that grow the brand and keep it relevant in modern culture.


Role Overview

We are seeking a curious, craft-driven Junior Designer to contribute to the evolution of our brand design systems and AI-assisted creative workflows.

This role is ideal for a designer with 1-3 years of professional experience who possesses strong foundational craft skills and a growing ability to think systemically. You will play an active role in developing brand identities, contributing to AI-enabled toolkits, and producing high-quality creative assets across both physical and digital channels.


Key Responsibilities
Collaboration & Design Evolution

  • Contribute to the design and evolution of omnichannel brand systems across packaging, retail, digital, and campaign touchpoints.
  • Develop and refine logos, typography systems, iconography, illustration styles, and layout frameworks under senior guidance.
  • Partner with copywriters, strategists, and cross-functional teams to concept and execute creative assets.
  • Contribute to AI toolkits, including prompt libraries, workflow documentation, and testing initiatives.
  • Present design concepts and rationale clearly to internal stakeholders.


Trend & Technology Exploration

  • Stay informed about trends in brand design, retail, culture, and Generative AI tools.
  • Proactively experiment with emerging AI features to enhance efficiency and iteration.
  • Explore how AI can scale creative systems while maintaining strong craft and brand integrity.
  • Share insights and recommendations with the broader creative team.


Quality Assurance & Governance

  • Follow brand guidelines and governance guardrails when creating and refining assets.
  • Document prompts, workflows, and version histories for AI-generated work.
  • Ensure all outputs meet high standards for typography, layout, accessibility, and brand consistency.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across all deliverables.


Project Ownership

  • Contribute to design projects from concept through production with increasing autonomy.
  • Manage smaller workstreams or components of larger initiatives independently.
  • Deliver organized, production-ready files on time and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of professional design experience.
  • Design Skills: Strong foundation in typography, layout, composition, color, and visual systems.
  • Systems Thinking: Portfolio demonstrating a thoughtful design process and the ability to work within established brand guidelines.
  • AI Exposure: Hands-on experience or strong exposure to Generative AI tools (text/image) and iterative prompt exploration.
  • Software: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, and Microsoft Office.
  • Communication: Ability to receive feedback, iterate quickly, and contribute ideas confidently in a cross-functional environment.


Bonus Skills

  • Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, or Firefly.
  • Motion design, After Effects, or illustration skills.
  • Experience creating mock-ups or 3D visualizations.
  • Experience contributing to scalable design systems.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30.00/hr to $34.00/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
