What to Expect
Tesla's Asset Technician Semi Service Supervisors are the leaders of our Service Center floor teams. In this role, you will be responsible for leading an engaged team of technicians while delivering an exceptional service experience. The ideal candidate for this role is capable of driving excellent results and delivering operational efficiency in our service centers.
What You'll Do
- Provide effective supervision and coaching to technical employees, ensuring the achievement of required quality and service output goals
- Act as the process leader for shop activities by systematically improving work standards with input from service technicians and the service center team
- Managesmooth workflow through the service center and maintain shop records and inventories
- Collaborate with the Semi Service Manager and key stakeholders to establish targets for quality, speed, and cost aligned with customer and business needs
- Ensure current and accurate work standards and engineering procedures, maintaining compliance for maximum quality
- Monitor employee compliance with safety regulations and the service center's safety program
- Conduct regularly scheduled one-on-one developmental meetings with team members to facilitate their professional growth while monitoring and coordinating training needs in partnership with Training Team
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Prior leadership experience in a service-focused industry preferred; automotive experience is required
- Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities,establish and achieve goals, and meet deadlines
- Ability to lead group root-cause problem-solving activities andrapidly develop countermeasures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to effectively interact with customers as required
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekday and weekendovertime
- Foundational computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office required

Expected Compensation
$76,000 - $136,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
