Job Description
Elwyn Seeks a Fleet Coordinator to perform a wide range of office support functions using independent judgment in applying existing policies and procedures to complete assignments.
$22-$25/hr
- Scan in all the registrations, upload them to teams, and send them to the correct group homes.
- Order the new handicap placards for all vans when the new registrations come in.
- Schedule all service appointments & drop off the vans.
- Give out loaners for the vans going in for service.
- Drive loaners that sit for longer than a week, so the batteries do not die.
- Give out a new GPS for any vans that do not have one.
- Assign the new hardwire GPS for vans when they are installed.
- Order gas cards when needed.
- Contact Emkay when new employees are hired so they are assigned a gas pin.
- Contact the body shops for estimates when vans are in an accident and get repairs scheduled.
- Send out the MOR reports to the correct managers/homes to be filled out and returned.
- When the new insurance cards come in, send them out to all group homes/day programs.
- Keep in stock first aid kits and emergency triangles for any new vans we receive and/or if something gets broken.
- Any new vans will need to be numbered, assigned a GPS, and built into the fleet list.
- Take incoming service request calls via phone and email
- Prepare paperwork for all manufacture warranty parts
- Facilitate return of warranty parts
- Requisitions supplies and equipment necessary to complete preventative, corrective and reactive service as required
- Enforces all Elwyn safety and risk management policies and procedures; reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and identifies and corrects unsafe work conditions with management oversight.
- Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Follows all current policies and procedures of Elwyn New Jersey
- Cooperates with Elwyn New Jersey and the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services, or any other authorized investigating body during an inspection, inquiry, or investigation
- Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), safe crisis management, and medication administration using agency-trained protocols
EDUCATION
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good knowledge of rules of effective business English usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Experience: using alphabetical, numerical, or subject filing systems to include determining file names, setting up new files, classifying, labeling, filing, and retrieving; reviewing documents for compliance with established procedures; using a computer to enter and retrieve information; answering a business telephone using knowledge of business telephone procedures and etiquette.
- Customer service
- Must submit to a criminal background check and drug test and be determined to be not disqualified by the New Jersey Department of Human Services prior to working with individuals served
- Must agree to have their name checked against the New Jersey Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and NJ Child Abuse Registry (CARI)
- Must possess a current, valid driver's license in the State of NJ and state of residence, have a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience within the United States, and have an acceptable driving record, which will be assessed through a review of the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) record, in accordance with Elwyn's Vehicle Operation and Driver's Code Policy 905. For individuals licensed for more than two (2) years, the driving record will be reviewed for acceptability based on the past three (3) years. Additionally, employees required to drive as part of their job may need to successfully complete and pass an Elwyn Road Test before being authorized to drive.
