Position Title: CNC Operator
Wage: $24.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs) QPS Employment Group has a great CNC Operator position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. CNC Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and operate CNC machines such as mills, lathes, or routers to produce parts according to specifications. - Load raw materials and remove finished parts from machines. - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. - Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality output. - Perform basic machine adjustments to maintain production standards. - Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. - Maintain proper lubrication and coolant levels in machines. - Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues to supervisors or maintenance staff. - Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures. - Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards. CNC Operator Requirements: - Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred. - Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions. - Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. - Strong attention to detail and quality control. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. - Ability to stand for extended periods of time. - Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motions. - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise and machinery.
