Position Title: Coil Brush Machine Operator
Wage: $18-$23/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 7am-3:30pm or 6:30am3pm, 3pm-11:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Coil Brush Machine Operator for a company in Waukesha, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Coil Brush Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform complete machine setups and changeovers, including adjustments to form rollers, channel coiler, retaining wire, shoes, trimmers, mandrels, piston assembly equipment, and other machine components - Operate coil brush and related production machines to meet or exceed standard production rates while maintaining quality and specification requirements - Conduct routine maintenance such as lubrication, general cleaning, and housekeeping to support a safe work environment - Maintain setup records, data sheets, and spare parts cabinets - Complete documentation including statistical process charts (SPC), time sheets, and labor summaries as required - Cut raw materials and box finished product when applicable - Perform or obtain quality checks at each operational step and report issues immediately to the production supervisor - Assist in training and support of new department team members Coil Brush Machine Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Knowledge of basic shop math and metric measurements - Ability to use measuring tools such as rulers, micrometers, and dial calipers - Strong attention to detail, good analytical/problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong organizational skills are preferred - Frequent pulling, pushing, reaching, and repetitive motions - Ability to stand and walk for sustained periods and perform tasks like stooping and lifting - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; weights above 50 pounds may require assistance QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
