The Opportunity

Adobe's Lifecycle Marketing team is passionate about delivering impactful and effective marketing experiences to our customers. We are seeking an innovative and analytical Senior Manager to lead lifecycle strategy across the customer journey for email and emerging channels.

As a member of the Lifecycle Marketing leadership team, you will develop and implement lifecycle strategies that are designed to acquire, engage and retain users for long term business growth. You will lead and mentor a team of 2-3 marketers focused on building and optimizing journeys across desktop, web and mobile app for a high priority Adobe customer segment.

You will partner closely with Product Marketing, Product Growth and Go-to-Market teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and measurable growth in revenue, active use and customer lifetime value.

What you'll Do
  • Lead all aspects of end-to-end campaign marketing strategy, including planning, audience segmentation, content creation, continuous optimization and performance insights
  • Craft personalized experiences from a user's first signup through conversion, onboarding, active use, retention and upsell programs for a key customer segment
  • Drive growth and innovation through testing and experimentation to improve conversion, engagement, product use, and retention
  • Partner with Analytics team to establish measurement frameworks, monitor performance and develop performance insights. Identify growth opportunities and evaluate and marketing efficiency
  • Collaborate with data science teams to define and implement behavioral and predictive models in the areas of conversion propensity, likelihood to churn, and recommendation engine analysis to drive growth within your customer segment.
What you need to succeed
  • Advanced email and lifecycle marketing experience. capable of learning new technologies, products and systems quickly.
  • Deep understanding of experimentation, personalization strategies, and controlled experiment methodologies.
  • Strong analytics-based decision making, highly capable in interpreting data and advancing initiatives to optimize performance.
  • Leadership skills cultivating teamwork and innovation within high-performing performance marketing organizations. Capable of navigating a matrixed organization and representing team with integrity and self-sufficiency
Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in lifecycle, email or performance marketing with an emphasis on personalization and experimentation, with demonstrated results driving performance and optimization
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • SaaS and e-commerce experience preferred, ideally in a sophisticated data-driven organization
  • BA/BS in marketing, business or related field, or MBA, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action and impact

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $116,900 -- $250,875 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $173,300 - $250,875

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
