Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol

As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot patrols throughout the property, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will greet shoppers and staff with helpful customer service, document observations, and partner with the store team to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail store and/or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for service, disturbances, and/or medical events, and report information per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, back-of-house corridors, and exterior perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, loading areas, and parking areas for unusual conditions, support loss prevention efforts through presence and observation, and assist with queue and crowd management during peak periods.
• Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports and incident reports, communicate with management and local emergency services as needed, and maintain control of keys and/or access per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
