Security Officer - High-Rise Patrol

As a Security Officer - High-Rise Patrol in Lockbourne, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will conduct unarmed patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and badge checks. You will document activity using a computer and/or tablet, assist employees and visitors with a customer service mindset, and communicate clearly with site leaders. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance issues for reporting.
• Monitor access control points and verify identification, visitor authorization, and/or delivery documentation per site procedures, directing traffic and foot movement as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Complete accurate security-related reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and/or shift turnover communication using required systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
