What you will do

This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven by safety. This manager coordinates and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. The manager is also responsible for ensuring the Environmental Management Systems (EMS / ISO14001) is established, implemented and maintained; and, is authorized to, and responsible for, reporting to the plant management.

How you will do it

  • In partnership with the plant leadership, this role is responsible for all Environmental Management

  • Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities.

  • Analyzes plant HVAC systems, computer network wiring, lighting, and other infrastructure.

  • Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.

  • Develops long range plans, conceptual designs, capital outlay requirements and CAD documentation for facility.

  • Formulates and coordinates projects specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents.

  • Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.

  • Acts as liaison to Borough, public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.

  • Reviews real estate contracts for compliance with government specifications and suitability for occupancy.

  • Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communication services.

  • Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.

  • Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of Maintenance and Facilities experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and timekeeping tools (e.g., Kronos).

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000-$150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
