As a Security Officer - Medical Center Patrol in Eureka, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, supporting hospital operations and vaccine-related areas. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Using a computer or tablet as needed, you will document observations and collaborate with clinical staff and teammates, living our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting clinical staff, facility management, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with site rules.
• Complete detailed reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information during handoff to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
