As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and report concerns with clear, professional communication. You will assist employees and visitors with customer-focused service, document activity, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, noting unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or damage.
• Monitor gates, access points, and critical areas while performing routine checks of locks, doors, and other assigned points; document findings per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services and assisting with traffic and scene control as needed.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to supervision and site leadership per chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
