Job Description




As a Security Officer Flex Apartment Patrol Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to resident questions with strong customer service. This is a driving post, so you will operate a patrol vehicle while documenting observations and communicating clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community.
  • Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols of streets, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or lighting concerns for reporting.
  • Monitor and control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying credentials, directing visitors to appropriate locations, and documenting visitor activity per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with property management and/or local first responders as needed.
  • Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate relevant observations to the next shift and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
