Security Guard - Industrial Site Patrol

As a Security Guard - Industrial Site Patrol in Holbrook, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and assist with access control and incident response as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance and/or notifying site contacts as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and follow visitor and vehicle check-in processes, including directing deliveries and verifying credentials per site requirements.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, log patrol and incident activity, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
