Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: MA

This role requires experience in development and deployment of Bl contents using Tableau and Microsoft Power BI. Experience working with business users and technical teams to enforce strategy and assist in solving technical issues.


Responsibilities

  • Dashboard Development: Creating, maintaining, and refining Tableau & PBI dashboards to support business intelligence community.
  • Assist in onboarding new data sources and standardizing reusable analytics assets
  • Help maintain technical documentation and knowledge base contents for COE reuse
  • Cleaning and transforming data.
  • Working with senior developers and stakeholders to gather requirements, fix bugs, and improve report usability.
  • Monitor adoption, performance, and usage metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Educate and promote use of standard data sources, reusable assets, and visualization best practices.
  • Support the Business Intelligence Center of Enablement (BI-COE) team that drives the enterprise data and analytics strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data initiatives
  • Enforce COE standards for data modelling, documentation, security, and best practices
  • Support the Jira board

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Data processing, database management, or related field OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Data processing, database management, or related field

Preferred Area of Study: Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field Preferred Area of Experience: Experience with cloud-based data platformsLicense or Certification Type: null nullSkill(s): 1. SQL and database management , 2. ETL processes and tools (e.g., DBTran, IICS, DataStage, SSIS, Apache Spark, Airflow), 3. Big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark), 4. Programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) , 5. Data modeling and architecture , 6. Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Preferred:

  • Requires understanding of BI architecture and development experience with Tableau and MS Power BI.
  • Requires proficiency in SQL or another data manipulation programming language.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Requires experience using JIRA and Agile Project Management.

If hired in MA, the base pay for this position is generally between $84,000 and $115,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
