As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests, assist with directions and concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site leadership and local responders as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail and mall setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior common areas, storefront corridors, and exterior perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control expectations and/or crowd flow during peak hours and special events.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions to guests and coordinating with site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
