As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disruptive behavior when appropriate and requesting assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas and around the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access, including observing visitor flow and directing guests to appropriate check-in and/or service areas.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns that could impact operations, and communicate findings to site contacts per post orders.
  • Complete incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation with accurate, timely details, following Allied Universal and location-specific reporting requirements.
  • Support access control procedures such as verifying credentials and/or authorizations when assigned, while maintaining a professional customer service approach.
  • Operate and/or monitor security-related equipment as assigned, such as cameras, alarm panels, radios, and/or access control systems, and report abnormalities per post instructions.
  • Assist staff and customers during service disruptions and/or emergency situations by providing directions, controlling pedestrian traffic, and supporting evacuation and/or shelter-in-place procedures when appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal leadership, site management, and/or local responders to communicate conditions, follow post orders, and complete assigned tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
