As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a high-end retail location, you will greet associates and guests, manage entry points, verify credentials, and guide visitors with a customer-first approach. You will conduct routine patrols nearby, help to discourage security-related incidents through a visible presence, and document activity with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry at designated doors and loading areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing visitors to the appropriate contacts or locations.
• Monitor the retail sales floor entrances and common areas for unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior, and promptly report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation efforts and coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or local responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, documenting security-related observations, hazards, and policy violations, and completing required reports and shift logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
