As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support store teams with customer service and clear communication. You will complete routine rounds, observe for unusual activity, and document findings using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and store associates while carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances and exits, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and potential hazards, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with store leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting potential concealment and other theft indicators, maintaining presence near high-activity areas, and documenting observations per post orders.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate updates promptly to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
