As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and report concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and suspicious activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and lobby areas, observing for unusual behavior and assisting with directing visitors to appropriate check-in and service areas per site procedures.
  • Observe and report conditions that may impact operations, such as unsecured doors, damaged locks, lighting outages, or blocked egress routes, and submit timely notifications per site protocol.
  • Use access control procedures to help to manage employee, vendor, and visitor entry and/or delivery activity, including verifying authorization when required.
  • Document and report daily activities, incidents, and patrol results in written logs and/or electronic reporting systems according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
  • Communicate clearly with branch leadership and Allied Universal supervision regarding security-related concerns, staffing changes, and incident updates.
  • Assist with emergency situations such as medical events, evacuation needs, and severe weather procedures by following post orders and directing people to designated areas.
  • Operate site communication and monitoring equipment as assigned, including radios, phones, and surveillance systems when available, and report malfunctions or irregularities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
