Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring an agile, reliable, innovative mindset, contribute through teamwork, and act with integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, property rules and security-related protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, docks or marina walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or Allied Universal management when needed.
  • Monitor access points and conduct security-related checks of doors, gates, common areas and amenity spaces; assist with directing traffic and/or coordinating after-hours access as assigned.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents and observed conditions in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Guard Card/License - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
