As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide strong customer service and clear communication while supporting store teams and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail and mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, corridors, storefront entrances, loading areas, and exterior grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe foot traffic for unusual activity, assisting with crowd management, queue control, and/or guest guidance during peak shopping periods and special events.
• Complete routine reporting such as incident reports, shift logs, and daily activity reports, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when requested by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
