As a Security Guard - Armed Credit Union Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed. You will support a welcoming customer experience through clear communication and professional presence while documenting observations and escalating concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of lobbies, ATM areas, parking lots, perimeter, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting dispatch and/or local emergency resources as required.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, observing for suspicious activity, and assisting with crowd control during peak traffic periods.
• Complete timely incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal management and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
