ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Material Handler at Children's Factory, you'll play a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You're the connection point between production, warehousing, and shipping-making sure materials and finished goods are in the right place, at the right time, and handled safely. If you enjoy staying active, operating equipment, and being part of a team that relies on your accuracy and reliability every day, this role offers meaningful, hands-on work with room to grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the daily flow of materials throughout our facility. You can expect to:

  • Keep materials moving efficiently by safely operating tow motors, forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport products throughout the building
  • Support production and shipping timelines by pulling, staging, and transferring materials accurately so teams can stay on schedule
  • Load and unload trucks with care, ensuring products are handled properly and stored in designated locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by logging material movement, completing stock checks, and helping reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Inspect materials for quality and accuracy, reporting damage, shortages, or concerns promptly
  • Follow and promote safety standards by adhering to all safety guidelines and reporting hazards or incidents immediately
  • Work collaboratively with teammates, leads, and other departments to solve problems and keep operations flowing
  • Care for equipment by performing routine checks and reporting maintenance needs
  • Contribute ideas for improvement, sharing feedback and suggestions that help increase efficiency, productivity, and safety
  • Show up consistently and prepared, understanding that attendance and reliability are essential to the success of the team

This is an active, hands-on role where your effort directly impacts how efficiently our products move from production to our customers.

ABOUT YOU:

You'll be a great fit for this role if you bring:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse or production role (preferred)
  • Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • The physical stamina to lift up to 40 lbs. and stay on your feet, bending and moving throughout your shift
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
  • A solid understanding of warehouse safety practices and a commitment to following them
  • The ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work different shifts as needed
  • A team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to take initiative
