This role sits within the Business Marketing team at LSEG and directly supports the products and solutions within the Workflows business of LSEG Data & Analytics, including those we will bring to market through our strategic partnerships. The Business Marketing team is a strategic partner to the LSEG business, powering commercial value through an insight led approach that enhances the impact of our investment and our relevance in the market.

The Business Marketing team is the critical link to the Product and Sales teams to ensure all marketing activities are directly aligned to LSEG's business priorities.

Applicants for this role should have experience developing multi-channel marketing strategies, stakeholder engagement, and content marketing deliverables to support data or technology solutions to financial communities, particularly the Buyside community.

What You'll be doing

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to develop marketing strategy and coordinate creation of activation deliverables.

  • Collaborate closely with design and writing teams to produce high-quality, compelling content suitable for B2B channels and formats including sales enablement collateral, blogs, whitepapers, reports, social media messages, infographics, etc.

  • Collaborate with the business, agencies and strategic marketing partners to ensure strategy is understood and content is reflective of our customer challenges and our product proof points.

  • Drive a standard of excellence across all deliverables, ensuring they add significant value to the business and increase return on investment.

  • Ensure all content is engaging, relevant, and articulates our full value propositions, broadens the conversation with the client and deepens relationships as a core part of the sales process.

  • Ensure all content aligns with our verbal and visual brand identity.

  • Edit, proofread, and improve content throughout product process.

  • Make use of analytics/metrics as a basis for marketing investment decision making, track performance against benchmarks and report return on investment.

  • Generate ideas to increase customer engagement.

  • Handle marketing budgets and keep an accurate record of expenditure.

What You'll bring

  • Five to seven years' experience of B2B product/solution marketing in financial services space.

  • Good relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external interested parties with different priorities.

  • Strong ability to learn, listen and collaborate.Receptive to feedback and invested in personal development.

  • Experience supporting the development of content materials, with a knowledge of the end-to-end process.

  • Ability to repurpose and build content using strong copyediting and writing skills. Brief designers, additional copywriters and third-party agencies on requirements as and when needed.

  • Strong understanding of data and insight analysis, knowing which metrics to pinpoint and use.

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to negotiate through a diverse and global matrix structure.

  • Customer centric approach and focus.Additionally, excellent project management skills and a proactive approach.

  • Confidence to bring fresh ideas and an innovative approach to bring strategy to life.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once and focused on outcomes, not outputs

  • Demonstrate a "learn it all" approach - building strong understanding of industry themes, market dynamics, customer challenges and LSEG solutions

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $117,800 - $196,400. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match. LSEG's Benefits plan also includes basic life insurance, disability benefits, emergency backup dependent care, adoption assistance commuter assistance etc.
