Summary Job Description: ER Tech - Emergency Department PRN Department Marketing Statement: Care is provided to both the adult and pediatric population. The Emergency Department is staffed by board-certified physicians. The nursing staff is BCLS and ACLS certified and includes registered nurses and emergency room technicians. A triage nurse is available during peak hours, keeping wait times to an average of less than an hour. Responsibilities: Assists the nursing staff by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties in caring for patients. Qualifications: BCLS (must obtain within 3 months of employment) required. EMT certification or have comparable work experience as ER Tech or Nurse Assistant and computer skills preferred.
