Position Overview:
Term: 6+ months
Location: US, remote
Pay: $70.00 - $95.00; commensurate with experience
Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
We are seeking as a Senior SAP Integration Consultant with strong EPLAN experience to stabilize and modernize engineering workflows currently operating in a largely manual state. This consultant will focus on integrating EPLAN with SAP (primarily SAP ECTR and PLM-aligned workflows), documenting current processes, standardizing engineering outputs, and enabling automation-ready data flows across engineering and downstream teams.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in manufacturing or industrial environments, understands engineering documentation (BOMs, attributes, revisions), and has hands-on experience aligning engineering tools with SAP.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in SAP integration roles.
  • Hands-on experience with EPLAN (Electric P8 or similar).
  • Strong experience with SAP ECTR and SAP PLM.
  • Deep understanding of engineering BOMs, revisions, and change processes.
  • Experience transitioning manual engineering processes into automated workflows.
  • Manufacturing or industrial systems background strongly preferred.
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments
  • PLM systems beyond SAP (Teamcenter, Windchill, etc.)
  • Prior consulting or contract-based delivery experience
What you will bring to the team:
  • Analyze and document current manual engineering workflows across Engineering and dependent teams (Manufacturing, Procurement, PLM).
  • Design and implement EPLAN-SAP integration, with a strong focus on SAP ECTR.
  • Align engineering processes with PLM-driven workflows inside SAP.
  • Standardize engineering outputs:
    • BOM structures
    • Attributes and metadata
    • Revision control and change management
  • Enable automation-ready outputs from EPLAN into SAP.
  • Create read-only / ad-hoc access models for downstream consumers without impacting SAP core operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure adoption.
  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and best practices for long-term sustainability.
