Columbia University Irving Medical Center's Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologist to join our expanding clinical faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing academic division committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research.

Responsibilities:



  • Provide outstanding outpatient and inpatient care for patients with a broad spectrum of rheumatic diseases.
  • Participate in the growth of the Arthritis Center, enhancing patient access and supporting NYP's musculoskeletal service line.
  • Engage in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Collaborate on clinical and translational research initiatives or quality improvement programs.
  • Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to optimize clinic operations and patient experience.

  • MD or equivalent medical degree.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Board eligibility or certification in Rheumatology.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.
  • Strong clinical acumen and dedication to compassionate, evidence-based care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
