* Strong organizational abilities with effective timemanagement skills. * Clear, professional communication skills-both written and verbal. * Excellent interpersonal and phone communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor. * Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, email, and electronic medical or dental record systems. * Solid understanding of healthcare practices, especially dental procedures and workflows. * Experience performing quality checks, inspections, and evaluations of products, services, or processes. * Ability to prioritize tasks, identify issues, notify the appropriate personnel, and assist in resolving problems. * Comfortable working in a fastpaced, highdemand environment. *Job Responsibilities* The role involves supporting daily sterilization and processing tasks to ensure efficient clinical operations. Key duties include: * Managing supply orders and maintaining inventory to support smooth workflow. * Participating in required meetings and team discussions. * Keeping accurate, uptodate testing logs. * Cleaning, sanitizing, organizing, and preparing dental instruments while maintaining strict standards of quality and safety. * Staying current with and adhering to OSHA regulations. * Ensuring instruments are sterilized promptly upon arrival to central sterilization. * Maintaining order and cleanliness throughout all sterilization areas. * Recording spore testing results with precision. * Using tracking systems to monitor instrument movement throughout the sterilization process. * Reporting equipment issues, supply concerns, or procedure-related problems to the Lead Sterilization Technician. * Supporting provider requests related to instrument needs and handpiece preparation. * Contributing to a positive team environment and promoting collaborative workflows to help meet departmental goals. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Proper sorting and storage of instruments. * Accurate recordkeeping of sterilization cycles and inventory. * Ability to prioritize tasks according to surgical or procedural timelines. * Strong multitasking skills across various responsibilities. * Understanding of infection control standards and sterilization protocols. * Working knowledge of medical and dental instruments. *Work Environment* * Onsite position working in the processing and inventory area. * Schedule: Monday-Friday between *7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.* (candidates must be available for an 8hour shift within this window). * Candidates who can work until 6:30 p.m. are preferred. * Onehour lunch break included. * Candidates are required to purchase their own scrubs. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of St. Louis, MO. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
